My Single Life with Four Children

It all started back in 2011 with the birth of my twins. It was just me and my sweeties. To make ends meet I used cloth diapers, I breastfed, and I worked as much as I could. I have always wanted to be the best mom possible despite circumstances.

As many of you might know cloth diapers are a pretty big initial investment, but it saves money in the long run.  I did a lot of research while I was pregnant on different kinds of diapers and fabrics. I used what are known as flats and covers at first. Then I started making my own.

With my twins I started off brimg_1165eastfeeding I was so determined. I spent the first week after coming home from the hospital breastfeeding nonstop. I would try to sleep sitting up on the couch with the babies propped up nursing all day and night. After what seemed like weeks my mom gave th
em a bottle of formula. My milk came in the next day. The babies wouldn’t nurse after that. With my daughter I was able to nurse right away and nursed for about ten months. With my last little boy I made so much I was donating to premature babies. img_0917

I became a single parent when my twins

were about six months old and I was pregnant with my daughter. My husband at the time could not handle the beauties life had handed us and left. I was very stressed to say the least and am very thankful for all the support I had in those early years. I worked several different jobs and lived with my parents for a while and am proud of how far I have come. It was never easy but it was all totally worth it. I have learned to do so much on my own and would love to share my knowledge with you.
